I have a issue, even with free space, I can not install large apps from google play.
PS: I have 2.87GB of free space on the memory card, 427Mb in a2sd + and 137 on the phone

Same issue, I can not install apps from google play with a lot of free space, it looks like the cache partition is too small or the download directory (in /cache/download) is in the wrong location.

One solution is rename the /cache/download directory and create a symlink with the same name "download" pointing to a sdcard directory.

I tried this rom with a nAa 2.6.32.61-06, everything works ok, but sometimes the phone stops responding and / or restarts.

I think the apps installation issue is due the kernel version, I have tried with a E10_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa kernel and the problem does not present, however the system runs significantly slower.

With nAa 2.6.32.60-05, nAa 2.6.32.60-04, etc. The Wireless does not work, the SIM card is not detected.

Hi Ivan,

It follows that I tried 3 ROMS:
* MiniCM10-4.1.0 [15/3/13]JB 4.1.2/CM10 for the Χ10 mini
* JB Mini Project | Release 4 | 22/05/13 | Bugfree
* MIUI v3 | Stable5 Final | AUG 15-2013 | EverLasting

and different Kernels combinations on my Xperia X10 Mini (e10i).

With all the above ROMs, I had the problem that the system was very unstable: very slow, self resets, etc.

The ROM that I liked the most was this "MIUI v3 | Stable5 Final | AUG 15-2013 | EverLasting", because the look, the performance and some features (as the camera has more options to configure), however I had the same resetting problem.

With kernel nAa 2.6.32.61-06 I was unable to install apps through Google Play.

With Kernel E10_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa-14 the installing apps via Google Play problem got solved: everything works very good with this kernel.

The hangs and auto resetting problem was due the SD Card, I bought a 32GB SDHC SanDisk SD Card Class 10, it supposed that the Xperia X10 Mini (e10i) supports it, according to the specs, but it didn't, the card was recognized by the device and seemed to work well, but it didn't, it seems that is something related to the a2sd feature, but I'm not sure.

I partitioned the 32GB SD Card (via the CWM): 1 x 64Mb swap partition, 1 x 2Gb ext partition and the remaining space for a Fat 32 partition.

Solution was to use the E10_nAa-14_2.6.29.6-nAa-14 and I installed a 8Gb SD Card (SanDisk) with the following partitions:

1 x 64Mb swap partition
1 x 1Gb ext partition
Remaining space for a Fat 32 partition.

After installing the ROM, I enabled the A2SD(ext):

Settings -> System -> Performance Settings -> A2SD(ext) settings -> Available modes: a2sd marked.

and rebooted the device.

After reboot check Settings -> System -> SD card Settings: A2SD+

you should see that the space of the ext partition is used by A2SD+, in my case it shows (after insall some apps):

A2SD+
Total space: 0.94Gb
Available space: 843MB

And now my Xperia X10 Mini is working great !!!

=========================

Thanks Pongnamu, this is the best ROM available for the Xperia X10 Mini !!!

Greetings from México !!!

hi Ariel,
thanks for everything, and Pongnamu Thanks for the best ROM ever. now i got problem solved. I chose to stay with this ROM, and i used nAa kernel. I used a2sd too. and another aplication like CacheDownload2Sd, Cache2sd, SdCardBooster. and its getting better :D

but i already update my MiLocker, and now i can't open the aplication. it said "i'm Sorry MiHome is corrupted and will restart" and over and over again.

Hey Ivan,

yes, you are right, I have the same problem, I did not noticed before because I haven't run the application before.

After a fresh ROM installation, there was a notice about MILocker has an update, I updated it, then after that update there was a notice informing there was a new MILocker available to install, I installed it.

I activated the a2sd feature, configured the google account and downloaded the availble updates for the installed applications, I installed WatsApp, Youtube, Netflix and Facebook, SD Card Booster applications.

After running the new MILocker I get the same error:

"i'm Sorry MiHome is corrupted and will restart"

I had to restart the phone because MILocker was in a loop, after restarting the phone all the applications I instelled before were broken, including google market services, so I just re installed the ROM.

I'm not sure, but the MILocker problem maybe has to do with a2sd activated feature, I saw there is a "Mihome" directory in the SD Card.

I'll try to update MILocker before enabling a2sd to see what happens.

Well, it was not an a2sd problem, I re installed the ROM, MiLocker worked fine, then configured my google account and it showed there was an update for MiLocker, applied the update and the "i'm Sorry MiHome is corrupted and will restart" problem started, stopped the MiLocker application, rebooted the phone and tried again, same problem.

Stopped MiLocker and there was another update available, applied the new update and the problem persisted.

What I did was to stop again MiLocker (it was difficult because the loop) and uninstalled the MiLocker updates (via settings-> Programs -> Manage Applications -> MiLocker (selected clear data and then uninstalled the updates).

After uninstalling the MiLocker's updates, it started to work fine again, but I decied to disable MiLocker and installed MiHome ("MiHome Launcher"), I think it is much better than MiLocker.

Hey Ariel,
Honestly, i install MiHome before to try to Fix MiLocker but the problem is persist. and MiHome have a same Problem, it can be used, but when i try to open all feature of the MiHome it said "an Error, Occured in MiHome Launcher. Launcher will restart", like theme, Suggestion etc.

i Uninstall MiLocker Update and still use MiHome, but the problem still persist. But its just minor bugs. i still can use my phone as light as there are no problem. Now I used MiLocker without update and Stock Launcher from this Rom. Thanks for all your suggestion, its getting better.

Great mod! My Mini Pro feels like a new phone. ;)
I have a little question, though. Did anybody else notice that HW keyboard symbols are scrambled? Caps do not work, and numbers and other symbols are out of place. It isn't a big problem for me, because the SW keyboard is great, but it would be great if that could be fixed. Thank you again. You did a great job!
